Tab Plater

Introduction

The PAL series of tab platers is a well-established and widely used range of in-line nickel/gold plating equipment, with more than a hundred machines in use world-wide.

The well-proven design and stylish construction, together with the many innovative features, have provided high-level productivity with low-level maintenance for PCB manufacturers throughout the USA, Europe and South East Asia.

The four standard models range from the low-cost Model TP-1, producing 200 micro-inches nickel and 30 micro-inches gold at a rate of 1 ft/min., to the high-production Model 224C producing the same plating thickness at 5 ft/min.

Like all other PAL products, in addition to the standard models, machines can be custom-built to meet special requirements of production or processing by the customers.

A "deep cell" version has been developed which allows tabs located up to 9 inches from the panel edge to be processed. This has major advantages when handling small units in multiple forms, enabling two, three or more "strips" of gold to be plated in one pass.

A complete range of options and accessories, such as auto load/unload, switch cells and gold recovery units is available, making PAL the first choice for automatic in-line nickel/gold plating equipment.
